The survivorscout project is built on the following principles:
to teach practical outdoor skills in the environment in which they will be applied
to continually build upon and reinforce tasks learned at all levels of the program
to present new challenges in which to apply learned skills in as many ways and in as many environments as possible to build competence, confidence, and facilitate skill mastery
The ultimate take away is the development of self confidence, self reliance and self esteem that will last a lifetime.

Learning Life-Saving Skills
Survival first aid and medicine is definitely not your basic first aid. The priorities of care are based on the proven methods of the Tactical Combat Casualty Care curriculum, with the main difference being the focus on treating the most severe injuries based on the most likely causes and mechanisms of injury.

WFA Certification Course
The Wilderness First Aid Certification course if offered thru the Emergency Care and Safety Institute, a Nationally recognized provider of emergency medical training, and partner with the Boy Scouts of America as the primary provider of Wilderness First Aid Training.
